Working For Carers Scheme (including the website and all printed materials) is operated by Carer Support Wiltshire Ltd. Carer Support Wiltshire is a charity registered in England with charity number 1092762 and a Private Company Limited by Guarantee 4415685. Its registered office is The Independent Living Centre, St. George’s Road, Semington, Trowbridge BA14 6JQ.
In submitting your application for membership of the Working For Carers scheme, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.
The term ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to Carer Support Wiltshire. The term ‘you’ refers to Working For Carers members.
1. Conditions of membership
1.1 The contact name and email address you provide us with shall be used for all correspondence. If your contact details change, you must notify us promptly. We accept no fault for any notifications not received due to a failure on your part to notify us of a change of contact details.
1.2 Membership is valid for a period of one calendar year, starting on the day we send your confirmation of membership to you.
1.3 Membership payment must be received by us within 30 days of the invoice date. Payment can be made by either BACS or cheque – see details on the invoice.
1.4 In the event of an overdue invoice, we will send you an email reminder. If the balance is not paid within 7 working days of the email being sent, membership will be suspended until payment has been received.
1.5 Approximately 2 weeks prior to your membership renewal date, we will send you a reminder via email. If you are considering cancelling your membership, you must inform us promptly in writing. If we do not receive a written request to cancel your membership before your membership renewal date, your membership will automatically renew for a further calendar year and an invoice will be sent to you for payment.
1.6 Access to our member benefits is only available if your membership and all payments are up to date. These benefits may change from time to time without notice. Please refer to the website for our current offering and check it from time to time to take notice of any changes.
1.7 We reserve the right to refuse applications from you where, at our sole discretion, we consider your activities to be illegal, suspected as being illegal, inappropriate or in conflict with our aims and ethos.
1.8 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to withdraw membership from those whose actions or comments might adversely affect our reputation.
2. Copyright and reproduction of content
2.1 Your membership does not provide you with any right(s) of ownership and/or possession of any materials or content that are produced or used by Carer Support Wiltshire.
2.2 All content on our website and in our printed literature is protected by copyright. You acknowledge that we are the owner or the licensee of all relevant rights, title and interest in and to all materials and content produced or used by us or Carer Support Wiltshire (and all intellectual property rights subsisting in them) and you will acquire no right, title or interest in or to any of them except where expressly set out in these terms and conditions.
2.3 You may use the Working For Carers logo to promote your membership of the scheme, provided this is done within an appropriate context and your membership and payments are up to date. The logo may not be amended in any way and must be used only as per our branding guidelines. In the event your membership is cancelled or withdrawn you must immediately remove our logo from any of your websites and printed materials.
2.4 The content and materials are made available for your personal and non-commercial use only. No materials may be shared with non-subscribing 3rd parties. You must not use any of the content or any materials for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the owners and/or licensees of the content and any materials must always be acknowledged.
2.5 We either own or have been granted permission to use, the images on our website. These may not be copied or reproduced without the permission of the copyright owner.
2.6 You must not modify the content or materials in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
2.7 You may create a link to the Working For Carers website on your own website, provided this is done in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take undue advantage of it.
3.1 To publicise your commitment, you will be listed on the Working For Carers website. If you do not wish to be named, you must inform us in writing.
3.2 We will not disclose any personal or sensitive information about you or your company practices with any 3rd party without your prior permission.
3.3 We may use anonymous data from our members and the Working For Carers awards process as we see fit, to evidence the outcomes of the Working For Carers scheme.
3.4 We are not obliged to inform you of, nor disclose any details about, the registration of your employees with any support or advice services. Carers’ information will be treated in accordance with our Data Protection & Confidentiality policies. 4.1 None of the information provided or referred to on our website or in our printed materials is intended to be a substitute for independent advice and should not be relied upon. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss arising out of or in connection with any use or misuse of the website but nothing in these terms limits (or purports to limit) our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

5. Changes to these terms & conditions
5.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, without prior notice, at any time. In the event they are revised, we will notify our members by email. Your continued membership shall be deemed acceptance of any changes.
